Turning Accountability into Community Service

One of the benefits of Lebanon’s Municipal Jail was a work crew -- helping tackle projects throughout our community, including cleaning up graffiti. These photos are a reminder of what that looked like: turning accountability into community service and making Lebanon a little cleaner in the process. Adults in custody who participated in four hours of work crew had one day knocked off their sentence.

With the proposed levy on the November ballot, reopening the jail would yes, bring back local jail operations, but also the work crew program. Vote yes on Measure 22-216 to Reopen the Lebanon Jail!
